Evolution Gaming

As we’ve covered in previous reviews, we absolutely love Evolution Gaming’s live Blackjack offering. The award-winning company always provide a high-quality experience, and Twin is no exception. There are 36 tables on offer, with 11 of these being VIP tables. One slight disappointment is that there aren’t any Twin-branded tables, so a degree of personality is lost.

Wagers on the Evolution tables range from €0.50 to €2500, which covers a broad range of clientele. High-rollers will perhaps want to check out some of the more exclusive and high-stakes casinos. Evolution uses eight decks of cards for Blackjack, with a dealer advantage of 0.61%.

The streams are of a high quality, and the croupiers are all professional and well-presented. Side bets and betting behind is possible, and the information is clearly laid out so that players of all levels can understand.

NetEnt

NetEnt’s live casino offering is slightly newer than Evolution’s, and on the surface, there were a few implementation issues on Twin. The software was slow to load and often threw up error messages when we tried to play. This was shortly after trying Evolution’s games, which worked fine.

There are 6 NetEnt Blackjack tables, with two of these being VIP tables, and one being a ‘PRO’ table, which offers a maximum bet of €10,000. NetEnt tables have a dealer edge of just 0.50% and use six decks for Blackjack. The dealers are all well-presented, but the green screen they stand in front of gives mixed results. As with Evolution, the cards use large symbols which make it easy to follow the action.

Mobile Experience

The Twin mobile site is fully responsive and gives an overall good experience for players. Load times are comparatively quick, and the stream quality rarely dips. Evolution games are excellent on mobile, giving almost as much detail as the desktop site. No matter which orientation you use, you get the same high-quality experience.

The NetEnt tables are a little sparse by comparison. There isn’t much information overlaid, and you can’t always see what other players have bet. There is also no readout for the dealer’s hand like there is on Evolution. There’s plenty to like here, but the gulf in quality is evident.

Signup Bonuses

Part of Twin’s signup incentive is their ‘Twin Pack’ bonus. They will offer a matched 100% deposit up to €100, as well as a doubled second deposit. There’s also a monthly raffle of €1000 for players who make deposits. There are plenty of caveats to this, however. The main one being the 40x wagering requirement that needs to be met within 30 days. Sadly for Blackjack players, table games only count 10% towards bonus wagering. If your primary focus is table and poker games, the matched deposit bonus gives very little likelihood of beating wagering.

Banking Overview

There are plenty of ways to make deposits with Twin, which is useful on the whole. Along with Visa and MasterCard payments, players can use ecoPayz, Skrill, Neteller and Paysafecard. There are also options for Trustly, Zimpler, and Siru, and Sofort, although these don’t always appear on the deposit page. Unfortunately, the minimum deposit amount is €20 (unless you use Siru), which is a little high compared to other casinos. The maximum deposit is €10,000.

For withdrawals, the methods are rather more limited. Bank transfers take 1-3 banking days, while Visa and MasterCard take 2-4 banking days. Trustly, Neteller, Skrill, and ecoPayz should be instant. All have a minimum withdrawal limit of €20, up to a maximum of €5,000-€10,000 depending on the method.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Twin offers players plenty of appeal. Their range of games is good, although the Evolution Blackjack is considerably better than NetEnt. The site and the brand don’t quite match up to some of the more established casinos such as Genting or Grosvenor, but they’ve done well in a short time.
