Live Dealer Content Climbs the Rankings in Europe
Live casino games are becoming a more prominent part of operator portfolios across Europe, according to new market research examining content visibility in the United Kingdom, Italy, and the Netherlands.
The study found that live dealer products have secured considerably stronger positions than they held a year ago, reflecting changing patterns in player engagement. Markets traditionally dominated by slot content are now showing increased exposure for live gaming, with several providers benefiting from the trend.
Among those suppliers,Β Evolution recorded the strongest advances, while Playtech and Pragmatic Play also maintained notable positions within the growing segment.
UK Market Shows Growing Appetite for Live Gaming
The United Kingdom delivered some of the clearest evidence of live casino’s growing influence.
In a market valued at $12.4 billion in Customer Estimated Balance (CEB), Evolution progressed from holding a content share of only 0.08% to becoming the leading live casino supplier. The increase coincided with a broader rise in visibility for live dealer products throughout the market.
Crazy Time played a significant role in that expansion. The title experienced strong growth beginning in the second half of 2025 and continued building momentum into 2026.
Another contributor was Ice Fishing, which debuted in December 2025. The game combines live casino gameplay with crash-style mechanics and quickly established itself among Evolution’s strongest-performing releases.
The wider market followed a similar trajectory. Live casino content moved beyond a 5% share of available content after occupying only a limited position roughly a year earlier.
Competition remained active throughout the UK. Playtech and Ezugi retained positions among the visible suppliers, making the British market the most contested of the three countries included in the research.
Live Casino Becomes a Larger Part of the Italian and Dutch Markets
Italy also experienced meaningful changes in content distribution.
Data showed live casino products rising to become the second-largest gaming category in the market. During the same period, slot content registered a modest decline in share.
Evolution joined the highest-ranked supplier group in Italy, supported largely by the continued performance of Crazy Time. The title recorded the strongest growth among individual games, while Ice Fishing climbed into second place among the market’s leading titles.
The Netherlands recorded the most dramatic movement among the jurisdictions reviewed.
Within less than twelve months, live casino content expanded from approximately 0.1% market share to more than 7%. That increase lifted the category into second place overall behind slots.
Evolution crossed the 3% content-share mark in the Dutch market, where Crazy Time remained the most visible live casino game. Ice Fishing also maintained a strong position until newer competitors entered the rankings during early 2026.
The figures suggest that live dealer products are becoming increasingly visible across operator lobbies as players devote more attention to the category.
Evolution Dominates Top Game Rankings
The supplier rankings reveal how concentrated the growth has become around a small group of providers.
In Italy, Crazy Time maintained a visibility lead of approximately 1.5 times over Playtech’s Mega Fire Blaze Roulette Live. Evolution supplied eight of the fifteen highest-ranked titles in the market, while Playtech contributed five entries. Pragmatic Play secured one title among the leading games.
The Netherlands showed an even stronger Evolution presence. The supplier accounted for ten of the top fifteen ranked games. Pragmatic Play followed with three entries, while Playtech and ICONIC21 each placed one title in the leading group.
Across all three markets covered by the research, live casino content increased its presence within operator offerings. Evolution emerged as the largest beneficiary of that shift, while Playtech and Pragmatic Play continued to compete for visibility as live gaming captured a growing share of player attention.
