Imagine Live Gains GLI Certification in Italy as Expansion Accelerates
Imagine Live has confirmed a new milestone in its European growth strategy with the announcement that its live casino titles are now GLI certified in Italy. The approval ensures the company’s games meet Italian regulatory requirements, enabling local operators to deliver compliant live dealer experiences to their players.
Strengthening Position in Italy’s Changing Market
The certification comes as Italy is entering a new licensing era. Authorities recently launched nine-year concessions for online gambling operators, each carrying a €7 million entry fee and a 3% operating levy. This system, approved by the EU’s Official Journal, is expected to raise €350 million in application fees and €100 million annually through fixed charges. Applications close on May 30, 2025, with a nine-month review process to follow.
Applicants are obliged to provide strong financial guarantees, including a €750,000 provisional bond and a €3.7 million final guarantee, as well as proof of at least €3 million in revenues over the previous two years. These measures, coupled with limits of five licenses per operator, are designed to safeguard integrity in Italy’s gambling landscape.
A Track Record of Regulatory Approvals
Italy adds to a growing list of markets where Imagine Live has secured entry. Earlier in 2024, the company received a license from the UK Gambling Commission, allowing its initial portfolio—Dynamite Roulette, Auto Roulette, Roulette, Blackjack, and Baccarat—to reach one of Europe’s most competitive jurisdictions. At the time, Imagine Live emphasized that its “unwavering focus on quality, innovation, and responsible gaming practices” had been key to gaining recognition from regulators.
In Belgium, the supplier was granted an E Category License, opening access to the local market through partnerships with fully licensed operators. Sweden also welcomed the company after the Swedish Gambling Authority issued authorization in August 2024. “Our innovative games are well-known in the industry for their immersive gameplay and high-quality streaming,” a spokesperson said when announcing the approval.
Most recently, in February 2025, Imagine Live secured a Class II license from Romania’s ONJN authority. Through its subsidiary ImagineLive Ro, the company gained permission to stream live casino content within the market. Commenting on the achievement, Imagine Live Group CEO Martin Martirosyan said: “Imagine Live is an established brand committed to delivering exceptional products and gaming experiences by putting the player at the centre of the live gaming experience.” He added that bespoke solutions and branded studios would help Romanian operators strengthen engagement and revenues.
Expanding the Game Portfolio
Alongside its regulatory push, Imagine Live has been introducing new titles to enhance its live casino offering. One of the latest additions is Robin the Fair, a game show inspired by the legendary Robin Hood. The card-based format challenges players to choose between two cards across seven rows, with multipliers of up to x5000 available.

Our studio is a vibrant haven, meticulously adorned to transfer in the heart-pounding adventures of Robin Hood.”
The game reflects Imagine Live’s commitment to combining simplicity with engagement, using immersive visuals and intuitive interfaces to ensure players “become a part of the legend,” as the company describes.
A Strategic Path in Regulated Markets
With Italy now added to its roster, Imagine Live has secured entry into some of Europe’s most prominent regulated markets within less than two years. These approvals highlight a broader plan to grow responsibly, expand its library of distinctive live dealer content, and support operators through localized compliance.
